Slayyyter continues to redefine what it takes to achieve mainstream pop stardom with the first glimpse of the inverted brother album to her critically acclaimed WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA. The pop provocateur’s latest single “brand new chanel$” arrives as the antithesis to “BEAT UP CHANEL$,” trading the latter’s raucous grit for euphoric devastation.

The visceral effort tells the story of betrayal and heartache as Slayyyter navigates the quiet wreckage left in the wake of her ex-partner’s infidelity. The vulnerability she pours into this song is powerful with reopened wounds laid bare within its lyrics for the world to see. “That night in my apartment, my clothes in the corner / Why'd you let her stay the night?” and “Found out that you tried to kill me / Right before my most important day” twist the knife deeper, capturing the grueling reality of broken trust and deceit with detailed, gut-wrenching honesty. “Brand new chanel$” unravels the aftermath and transforms tragedy into clarity through soaring vocals and ethereal production.

Despite this only being the lead single from the forthcoming album, it’s clear that Slayyyter is an absolute MA$TERMIND when it comes to her craft. The parallels to “BEAT UP CHANEL$” feel natural rather than forced. The outro mirrors the original song’s chorus as Slayyyter sings, “He want sex, money, bitches and to lie through his teeth / Getting head, white and blue if you know what I mean / At those nasty little after parties, stuck in the scene / He want brand-new Chanels.” The self-directed music video for “brand new chanel$” further emphasizes the connection between both tracks, returning to the same house where the “BEAT UP CHANEL$” video was filmed. IT also features a nod to THE original fireworks scene and an inverted recreation of the WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA album artwork.

Slayyyter recently kicked off her WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD TOUR earlier this week with three shows in her hometown of St. Louis. These first few shows featured the live debut of “brand new chanel$” alongside three other unreleased tracks, including “CRANK 2,” “I THINK HE’S GOT A GIRL,” and “NEKROMANTIK.”

The entirely sold-out tour continues in major cities including Los Angeles, New York City, Sydney, São Paulo, Paris, and more before concluding in London on November 5. Slayyyter also continues her domination of the festival circuit with Lollapalooza last weekend, followed by Reading & Leeds and All Things Go D.C. later this year.
