Rock Sound Announces Tribute Album Pop Sound, Vol. 1

UK based music magazine Rock Sound officially announced they have teamed up with some of the hottest names in the scene right now to create a tribute album entitled Pop Sound, Vol. 1comprising 10 covers of iconic pop songs.

Rock Sound began teasing the project on June 29th by sharing several short clips of the tracks on social media throughout the week, dubbing it “the soundtrack of your summer”. Immediately, the album caught the attention of excited fans who noted the similarities to Fearless Records’ beloved Punk Goes Pop series that spanned from 2000-2019, with a similar premise of punk rock bands covering songs from other genres. Pop Sound Vol. 1 serves to scratch the itch the Punk Goes Pop  series left behind. 

This tribute album is only available with the purchase of the summer special edition of Rock Sound which can be purchased alongside exclusive Pop Sound merch here. Preorders are live now, with the expected release date of August 17, 2026.
