John O’Callaghan Of The Maine Missed The Memo

by sasha basant

Imagine your front man missing the shoot for your new music video? Sounds like a nightmare right? Not if you're The Maine, their music video for “3:31” decenters their lead vocalist John O’Callaghan by not featuring him entirely. Rather the video focuses on the other four members Kennedy Brock, Jared Monaco, Garrett Nickelsen, and Pat Kirch having a lightheart moment taking turns to fill in for John. This performance reflects the uncertainties in life, as the rest of the band chooses to move forward with the music video proving you must move forward when things go unplanned.

Formed in Tempe, Arizona, The Maine has cultivated a dedicated community in the last two decades, staggering over one Billion global streams and more than one million followers on social media. The rock band's track record includes five records on the Billboard 200 and a Top 5 Alternative Radio single “Loved You A Little”.

The Maine continues to ride the high off of the recent release of their anticipated tenth studio album, Joy Next Door. Showing no signs of coming down, they'll be hitting the road once again for the second leg of their US headlining tour in the fall featuring Hellogoodbye and In Color. Immediately followed by their European headline tour starting in September with Grayscale. Find a full list of their upcoming tour dates and tickets here.
