It’s a Superstar Summer with Good Neighbours

English indie rock duo Good Neighbours smashes back into the indie scene with their new single “Superstar”. They released their last album Blue Sky Mentality in October of last year, and are already ready to swing into a new era. Oli Fox and Scott Verrill took a break in releasing music during last year’s touring cycle in support of the new album, and listeners are overjoyed at their return. The band’s social media triumphantly declares “we’re back,” and one could say they’re even better than ever.
Superstar is an upbeat track that follows in the same vein as previous singles like “Suburbs”, “Starry Eyed”, and their smash hit “Home”, dropping just in time to be the new song of the summer. Somehow the magic mix of both dreamy and electric, it has their classic sound, and listeners both new and old will feel right at home adding this song to their summer playlists.
“Superstar” made its live debut at the Isle of Wight Festival on June 20th. The dynamic performance cemented what listeners already know- this song, like many others in their discography, was meant for the stage.
The Good Neighbours are set to perform at several upcoming festivals, including Summer Sonic, Wilderness Festival, Up in the Sky Festival, and Parklive.
