ANNABEL LEE IN WASHINGTON, DC

BY ORA HEARD

Annabel Lee took the stage at The Atlantis in Washington D.C. on April 8th, 2025. Opening for Transviolet on their Softcore Spring Tour, Lee delivered a powerful performance that felt like a gut punch wrapped in alt-rock melodies. From the first note, the energy in the room was electric, and the crowd was instantly entranced. Her voice was raw, emotional, and completely unfiltered, cutting through the noise like the sharpest knife, especially on a heart-wrenching song like UP that left the room in awe.

There was something almost manic about how she moved across the stage, feeding off the chaos she created. She demanded the audience’s attention, her eye contact felt like a challenge at times, daring them to look away but no one could.

Annabel Lee is a fearsome presence on stage, not despite her vulnerability but because of it. A pure display of power in its most honest form. You can catch her this July playing with Low Cut Connie and her debut album MOTHER'S HAMMER is out now.
